Criola (Brazil, 1990) is one of the most prominent Brazilian visual artists, and a rising star in the international street art scene. Her murals and large format paintings touch on ancestry to expose and question the values of contemporary society. She also dives into social and political topics, focusing mainly on women empowerment, particularly of black woman, and highlighting the importance of their role in the world.
